So Josh Austin, Ryan Carney and I had planned to go to North Carolina this weekend. Josh Austin then decided to be a big idiot and bail on us. So we need a third person.
Here’s the deal:
WHO: Me, Ryan Carney and you.
WHAT: A 13 hour drive for a weekend of bike racing.
WHERE: Raleigh, NC
WHEN: Hopefully leaving Thursday afternoon, crashing in DC Thursday night, getting to NC Friday afternoon.
WHY: Because New England sucks
HOW: Carney’s Corolla.
REASONS WHY THIS TRIP WILL BE AWESOME:

4. I have a notebook containing the exit numbers of every Waffle House between here and Raleigh.

6. NO SNOW
Gas should tentatively cost $60 a person. We have a free place to stay in NC.
If you can do this, contact me somehow.
You know New England sucks, and you know you want to spend 26 hours in a car with Ryan Carney and I.

If it weren’t Valentine’s weekend I might be inclined to go. There are a few people talking smack about heading down there for the race. Its short notice, but I will email something to the CRCA board here in NYC. You might get lucky. I’ll also email the CU kids. And I blogged it. Thats it. I can’t do any more.
Ah, yes. This will be a true test of the power of the blog. If someone wants to go, we can pick them up/drop them off in the NY area no problem….although we were sorta hoping to take the TZ instead of the George Washington. BUT HEY we’d rather have another driver.
Oh and they have to drive stick.
Oh and I can’t drive…long story.
