The Great New Hampshire Coffee Shop Ride
So after writing briefly about the fantastic cookies at Adelle’s, I got to thinking about creating a massive ride route that covers many of the great coffee shops in the Seacoast area.
Here are the shops that I’m thinking of including….any other input?
Me and Ollie’s (Exeter)
Big Bean (Newmarket)
BNG (Durham)
Adelle’s (Dover)
BNG (Portsmouth)
The plus side of this ride is that it would be really fun, because everyone likes riding a bike and drinking coffee. The downside is that the ride, which would usually take three or four hours, will take upwards of six if one includes all coffee stops. Plus stopping at a coffee shop in the cold, and then going out to ride again, really sucks.
I am going to make a map for this on mapmyride, so perhaps we can all take part at some point this winter.
count me in. i need to channel my inner ryan kelly in order to properly prepare for cycling season IN THE VANS. what better way than to train like/with him.
Hey Ryan — I don’t have your e-mail address, so please excuse the (off-topic) blog comment. I race for MIT and was fortunate enough to have raced in the ECCC during your heroic and epic reign. (I think we can all agree that your reign displayed these qualities…right?) Anyway, I have a few questions about the 2007 UNH TTT/RR course that was never used due to that torrential rain washing out the road. Hit me back whenever you get the chance — psn [@] mit [.] edu.
i am there. there’s nothing better than being totally wasted after a 6hr ride but fully unable to sleep due to the ‘fene. during such times, many take up “painting.” keep us posted.
despite the fact that i hate you and probably your friends by extension, i like coffee, a lot. i also like peeing. let’s do it.
