SURPRISE, BITCHES!
Fitchburg. Yay.
I didn’t do terrible in the time trial (oh god I hate TTs). Thankfully, Rudy “The Hebrew Hammer” got 12th. So today in the road race, we were all pretty much on Rudy babysitting duty. Which worked out pretty well – he didn’t do a ton of work, Vinnie and Duncan got in the break of the day. But then they died on the climb (no big deal), because the Hebrew Hammer smashed the field and finished 3rd behind two guys who remained from the break.
Yes. Now he’s in the top ten overall…but it will likely prove difficult to make up time in the circuit race or the crit…unless something crazy happens.
Oh, also, I can’t go up hills. At least that hasn’t changed.
But now Empire Strikes Back is on. I can’t believe my good fortune.
I am also sitting in my underwear on Austin’s couch stealing internet on Carney’s laptop because Josh is operating a friggin’ NorEast team hotel.
