Dynamic warm-up: Moving hay bales.
Exeter Crit wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be – probably because I had a great warm-up of putting hay bales on the course. And unloading signs. And whatnot.
BUT, it was definitely the most packed I have ever seen the race course, spectator-wise, and riding onto Water St. towards the start/finish was like hitting a wall of noise.
Pretty fantastic.
My legs also didn’t feel like CRAP afterwards, which is pretty good. Was it because I didn’t do a ton of work? Was it because of my great dynamic warm-up? Or are my legs actually starting to work properly?
I’ll find out in the next four days.
