bike racing. high life. internet.

Hi there.

So I’m sitting at a pizza place in Brussels now. Because I’m in Belgium for work.

I finished the crit at Fitchburg, changed, packed up my bike, waited for Susannah to claim her winnings, and then she drove me to Logan to fly to Brussels. No shower, straight to the flight.

Flight left 9:45 from Logan, after a layover in Frankfurt, I arrived in Brussels at 2 p.m. Monday. And then went and worked until 6:30 p.m. Came back to my hotel room, built my bike up, and then went on a ride.

In Brussels. I rode on cobbles. I had no idea where I was going, or what I was doing, and I am seriously amazed I didn’t die by getting hit by a car.

So now it’s ten, it’s still light out, and I’m getting food and leeching off of someone’s wifi. Tomorrow I might ride when I wake up before work. But for now I’m going to inhale this pizza, and try to find some place that is open where I can purchase some provisions.
