Here's what you need to do: eliminate any type of food garbage/waste from the apt: that includes pizza boxes, coffee grinds, banana peels...basically, anything organic. Any future food garbage needs to be stored in a sealed plastic bag and placed in the trash. For your drain: run one pot/kettle of boiling water, follow with 1 cup of baking soda and chase with enough vinegar to make all the soda fizz itself out. Chase with one more pot of boiling water. The flies will lose their food source and will disappear in a few days. In the meantime, shoot any you see with the lysol (Lighter is optional). Any fruit/vegetable that you do purchase, store in the refridgerator (even bananas). That should do it.
